If you’re flying internationally out of Centrair (Chubu Nguyen International Airport) and have a Priority Pass, you now have a genuinely good lounge option.
The Coral Lounge opened at Centrair in 2025 — and it’s the brand’s first location outside of Thailand. I visited the Uguisu room (the Kaede room wasn’t open during my visit), and here’s my honest take.
The Basics
| Location | Terminal 1, 2F International Departure Area (airside) |
| Hours | Mon/Wed/Fri/Sun: 7:00AM–9:30PM · Tue/Thu/Sat: 7:00AM–9:00PM |
| Access | Priority Pass, Dragon Pass, select airlines, or walk-in ticket |
| Walk-in price | Adults ¥6,050 · Children (2–12) ¥4,400 · Under 2 free |
| Who can use it | International departure passengers only |
Can You Get In With Priority Pass?

Yes — Priority Pass and Dragon Pass are both accepted.
One important note: this lounge is for international departures only. If you’re on a domestic flight, you’ll need to pay the walk-in fee.
What the Lounge Is Like

The Coral describes itself as blending Japanese aesthetics with Thai hospitality — and you can feel both in the space. It’s hotel-like: bright, clean, calm. Not the kind of airport lounge that feels like a waiting room with free coffee.
When I visited, it wasn’t crowded at all. There was plenty of space to settle in properly, not just perch.
Two families with children were also using the lounge — so if you’re travelling with kids, it’s a comfortable environment.
The overall feeling: genuinely special. The kind of place that makes departure feel like the beginning of something good, not just time to kill.
Food and Drinks

Everything was presented carefully and tasted good — noticeably above average for airport lounge food.
Available:
- Hot meals
- Desserts
- Full bar (alcoholic drinks)
- Soft drinks, coffee, tea

It felt closer to a hotel buffet than typical lounge fare. Nothing was disappointing.
Facilities
- High-speed Wi-Fi
- Mobile charging stations
- Toilets
- Wheelchair accessible
- Flight information displays
- Luggage storage
- Massage service (temporarily suspended at time of visit)
The massage service is worth mentioning — when it’s running, it’s a genuinely unusual offering for an airport lounge at this price point.
Which Airlines Get Access?
Passengers on the following airlines may have access based on their fare class and airline conditions:
China Eastern, Shanghai Airlines, Juneyao Airlines, Tianjin Airlines, Hong Kong Airlines, China Airlines, Qingdao Airlines
Honest Verdict
The Coral Lounge is one of the better Priority Pass options I’ve used — and the fact that it opened in 2025 means everything is still new and well-maintained.
If you’re departing internationally from Centrair with a Priority Pass, using this lounge is a straightforward yes. Eat well, charge your devices, decompress before the flight. That’s exactly what a good lounge should do.
